Audition notice for Sunstone Theatre’s production of Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare

When: Saturday, January 24th 6-9pm (you will be assigned a time slot a few days in advance)

Where: Portland Odd Fellows Lodge, 4834 N. Lombard St, Portland, OR, 97203.

Additional notes: You will be assigned a one-hour group audition slot prior to auditions. Please plan to stay the entire hour. The first stage of auditions will be a group workshop. Callbacks will take place January 31st from 4pm-7pm and consist of reading sides from the show.

Honorarium: All performers will be provided with a $400 stipend. A limited number of additional, need based funds are available if payment is a prohibiting factor. 

Important dates: 

Performances:  Thursday-Sunday, July 23rd-August 2nd. Split between Portland and Wilsonville.

Rehearsals: Sunday-Thursday evenings beginning June 7th. 

Tech: begins July 18th

Production information: 

Twelfth Night will rehearse in Portland and perform at Trillium Creek Training and Rehabilitation Coalition (TCTC) in Wilsonville, OR. 

TCTC is a 501(c)3 non-profit with 10 acres of woods, trails, water, gardens, orchards and 12 horses who have been healed and retrained to safely offer relationships with humans who are learning to be resourceful, self-reliant, community-oriented, and dedicated to sustainable practices that enhance the quality of their lives, the land, and the planet.

Some performances take place at a working horse sanctuary. The creative team will be weaving the specific attributes of the venue into the production. Horses will not be involved in the staging of the show. 

 All roles are available. We will be casting a total of ten actors to fulfill all roles.
