Theatre Merit Badge
August 16th, Noon-5:30pm (show at 6:30pm)
at Trillium Creek Training and Rehabilitation Coalition in Wilsonville, OR.
Join Eagle Scout and Sunstone Theatre’s Artistic Director to earn you theatre merit badge outdoors at a Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries-accredited "forever home" for 11 senior therapy horses. Explore design, production, and wrap up the day by watching Sunstone Theatre’s production of Romeo and Juliet, directed by Nicholas Granato.
Important Information
There is a $5 cost, payable via Venmo (@sunstonetheatre) or cash, for your discounted ticket to Romeo and Juliet. Friends and family also receive a 20% discount on their tickets, discount code shared upon signup.
To complete the merit badge, students should read Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Gadot and Sandy Rustin’s Clue (to be discussed as part of our activities. Attending Romeo and Juliet (and a brief post-show discussion) is also required.
Please arrive having eaten lunch and bring a packed dinner. There will be a one hour dinner break before the show, for which families are invited to join their scout for a picnic dinner.
